Any pattern lock in Android ICS which would lock the phone and not allow retries?

I saw this link below for pattern lock provided by Android
Recovering from forgotten lock pattern
What i was looking for incase the user exceeds a number of tries it just completely locks down the phone ( unlike the retry after 30 seconds) and has to be reset through same way by logging into one’s gmail account.
